Sunrise Yoga - this class will leave you energized and ready to take on the day!


Wednesday mornings 8:30am - beginning yoga

Hatha Yoga - this class is a balance of lengthening and strengthening, leaving you refreshed for the rest of your day.


Thursday evenings 5:30pm

Hatha Yoga - this class will build strength and endurance while incorporating restorative poses to help unwind after a long day.


Saturday mornings 8:00am

Hatha Yoga - this class focuses on an athletic practice with plenty of vinyasas to keep you moving.



Privates & Duets

​​Historically teachers worked one on one with students. Practice was individualized for each student based on their health, body type and lifestyle.  Honoring this tradition, Stay Balanced Yoga offers both private and duet sessions for students who prefer a more customized practice based on individual ability, wants or needs. These sessions allow students to deepen and broaden their practice.  Each session is 60 minutes, please arrive up to 10 minutes early to set up, this will help ensure the session begins on time.

Hatha Yoga


Classes are primarily "Hatha Yoga" which is a powerful tool for self-transformation and is available to all fitness levels.  The word Hatha means willful or forceful.  Hatha Yoga refers to a set of physical exercises (known as asanas or postures), and sequences of asanas, designed to align your skin, muscles and bones.  The postures are also designed to open the many channels of the body - especially the main channel, the spine - so that energy can flow freely.


Hatha is also translated as ha meaning "sun" and tha meaning "moon".  This refers to the balance of masculine aspects - active, hot, sun - and feminine aspects - receptive, cool, moon - within all of us.  Hatha Yoga is a path toward creating balance and uniting opposites.  In our physical bodies we develop a balance of strength and flexibilty.  We also learn to balance our effort and surrender in each pose.

Small Group Classes

Stay Balanced Yoga restricts the number of students per class to ensure a safe and comfortable environment. Students will enjoy plenty of personal space and receive more teacher/student interaction, focusing on adjustments and/or necessary modifications.  


​Each class is 60 minutes, please arrive up to 10 minutes prior to class time to set up and prepare for your practice. Stay Balanced Yoga asks that you respect your fellow students by arriving prior to the designated start time.  If you must leave before class ends please let the instructor know prior to class to help eliminate distractions upon your departure.
